remember to remember. remember all the names, times and places. the forgotten, the nameless and faceless. remember all those who had the heart to go into the dark so publicly. those who wore they scars of the skin in hopes of gaining the momentum to win over a government much too afraid to lend an aid or even say it. remember to remember times, places and days when people just wasted away until their names were sewn in quilts for display. remember those who had courage to say "stand up, fight AIDS." remember that silence does equal death, remember to speak, yell and scream until no more words are left. remember to remember because it does sometimes seem easier to forget.
