.:cool remake:.

born and raised in ft. lauderdale, florida, the 21 year-old cuban/philippino pop singing sensation is leaving her mark on the ears of south florida’s music lovers. backed by miami’s own slip n’ slide records, susana is currently working on her debut album. "forever", the album's lead single is produced by lil jon and features mr. 305 himself, pitbull. enjoy.

.:itz obvious that this track is hot!:.

gia released her first single in november 2006, with the single "hit me up". the song was featured on the soundtrack of the movie happy feet. the song has charted in europe and reached #6 in australia but failed to make an impression on the u.s. charts. signed to atlantic records, she is working on her debut album that is expected in late summer 2008. the second single "obvious" is a refreshing r&b/pop diddy co-written by gia and produced by (the sometimes repetitive) startgate. enjoy.

.:sunday stylin' free profile:.

during the late 80’s and early 90’s cynthia emerged as the reigning queens of freestyle/latin hip hop music with hits garnering billboard chart action. born and raised in spanish harlem, she sought inspiration from dance music legends donna summer and france joli. with guidance of a good friend in the music industry "sa-fire", cynthia auditioned for several producers and enventually signed a recording contract with micmac records in 1988. the success of her first single "change on me" lead to a full length album that included "endless nights" and "thief of hearts". in a short time cynthia had established herself as one of freestyle's biggest and brightest stars. cynthia kept the momentum going with her sophmore album cynthia II. the album included the smash freestyle classic "dreamboy/dreamgirl". in 1992 cynthia released one of the most slammin' freestyle tracks of all time, "love me tonight". in 1994 cynthia signed to tommy boy records and released the dance hit "how i love him" featuring k7. in 1998, cynthia released "if i had the chance", a tony moran composition which took new york radio. her third album thinking about you on robbins entertainment soon followed. cynthia continues to record great music including her 2006 duet with lisette melendez "can't change your mind".

...and finally and officially, i am a blogger!

my new years resolution for '08 is to create a blog. so here i am. who i am? i am still trying to figure that out, although i get closer (and more afraid of the process) everyday. :-) what i do know so far is that i love my son, music, activism and writing rhymez. with this blog, i hope to share the music i love (some of which i should be ashamed of) as well as my rhymez, thoughts and whatever else. we'll see. hope you like and please post! oh yeah, i have tons of dance music, feel free to request! :-)
