ahhh it was 1994 and i was just getting into freestyle in a serious way. it was summer time so i probably had on some turquoise cut off jeans with a white bone belt (i was experimenting). anywho, i was riding in some drug dealer's car when he put on a club tape (remember those) and this tune came on. well, needless to say i was floored and asked him to rewind and play this tune a thousand times. he's my baby now was originally recorded by lisette melendez and while i love me some lisette, her version pales in comparison to joei mae's. check it out -another slammin' carlos berrios production!
