i won't go into how the fallout from the superbowl reminded us (just in case some of us forgot) how sexist and racist this country can be. i still have forgiven justin timberlake's total abandonment of jan. i won't even go into how he used his "privelage" to walk away from the scandal unscaved. let me just introduce this tune. it's the title track from janet's 8th studio album. produced by kanye west, this track one of the highlights from the good but uneven album. check it out!

just a little while was the first single released from damita jo. the original mix is slammin' and it was shade that radio ignored it. this remix, produced by just blaze, incorporates break-beats and reminds us that jan was on the 80's retro vibe long before others jumped on the band wagon. take a listen!
the third and final single released from janet's 20 y.o. was the sultry and beautifully sung with u. while i could understand why call on me and so excited failed at radio, i could not comprehend how radio let this jewel of a song slip through their hands. with u is the best ballad jan has recorded since 1997's everytime and it should have put her back where she belongs - on top of the charts. here are two mixes of this great tune. check 'em out!
