YES MY DARLINGS, I AM OFFICIALLY 33 TODAY, WHICH IN MY BOOK IS THE AGE OF GROWN & SEXY! THE PIC ABOVE IS FROM THE SURPRISE PARTY MY FAMILY THREW FOR ME LAST WEEK. I AM NOT AN EASY PERSON TO SURPRISE BUT I DEFINITELY HAD NO IDEA. I HAD SPENT THE DAY SPEAKING AT AN HIV ADVOCACY EVENT (WHICH EXPLAINED WHY I WAS ALREADY DRESSED UP) SO I WAS PRETTY TIRED WHEN I GOT HOME, BUT I REJUVENATED AS SOON AS I SAW WHAT MY BEAUTIFUL FAMILY HAD DONE FOR ME. I PARTIED AND I AM STILL RECOVERING. SO TODAY WILL BE A SIMPLE DINNER WITH MY SON AND PARTNER. SO UPDATES MAY BE SLOW TODAY. WITH THAT SAID, I WILL BE BACK LATER! LOVE Y'ALLZ!

updates may slow down over the next week or so as i am in puerto rico with my partner and son. i am sure i will gain probably five pounds during my stay. but i will try to post music as i love all of the daily visitors and all those that leave feedback. so with that said, me and my son are heading to the pool! :-)

this is me earlier today at the honor and awards ceremony at lincoln university. ya boi is in the honor society and officially has his masters degree! praise da lawd!

when i was a teenager (centuries ago) i'd make mixtapes for my friends. in my twenties i graduates to making mix cds. then when i turned 30, i started managing the ipods of my friends. it was only inevitable that i would start a blog. last year on sunday, december 30th i created this here humble blog and hoped that people would check it out. it is now an entire year later and many readers have stop by to share their thoughts, opinions and music. readers like carlos berrios, glenn gutierrez, rupaul and you! for this i say thanks! sharing music has always been one of my fave hobbies. music is my savior and i kinda just like spreading the good word. here's to another year!

hey kiddiez! i am feelin' much, much better. i was so under the weather that i thought i would have to take my ass to the emergency room. and honey, i grew up in a family when the only times we went to the hospital was when we dead. so you know i was down - but not down for the count! i missed chatting with y'all and because i am always so humbled when people visit my blog - i have posted three days worth of songs. so get ready to flashback, catch a feevah and free up your style!
