aaahh how i so miss BET's video soul. that show provided the soundtrack for my awkward teen years. i remember watching the world premiere for this video and totally falling in love with both the song and vocalist. miss weathers, former lead singer for the r&b group atlantic star, released her debut (and only) solo album in 1990. this was the lead single and while a minor hit on the r&b chart, it failed to crossover. this tune takes me back -- way back into time. check it out.
