talk about over-looked divas! let me even begin to ask how and why in the world the music industry let such a talented diva elude pop success. a travesty i say! miss angela bofill is one of the first latina to find success in the r&b market. she scored several dance hits in the early 80's but was completely ignored by pop radio. 1983's tonight i give in is the epitome of great pop r&b - hands down. the song still sounds great in 2008. this song didn't even chart on billboard's hot 100 - shame on you pop radio! angela is currently recovering from a second massive stroke and my heart and prayers go out to her and her family. i love you ang!.:tonight i give in:.
