i have often wondered why mya just can not get a break. she is easy on the eye, she can dance and holds a pretty note. unfortunately, that is not enough. before leaving motown and after two albums shelved, mya released liberation in japan late last year. after one listen to the album i can see why motown decided to spare us. but amid all the crap, there is this gem of a tune. produced by b. cox, life is too short would have had a chance at radio had it been released two years ago, but it wasn't and there you have it. none the less, it's still a great track that showcases mya's vocal abilities. check it out!
