in 2007 mandy released her most critically acclaimed album wild hope. the album reflected an artist that has matured and come into her own. my fave track is the aching gardenia, sung over a gently plunked piano and aims at confession and clarity: "I'm the one who likes to make love on the floor," the chorus reminds a vacant-eyed lover. check it out! .
